I possess over twenty years of experience in the mental health field, commencing my career as a daily living support professional in community settings. While pursuing my Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician Certification through the University of Southern Maine, I gained valuable experience working with Veterans and individuals with dementia/Alzheimer’s disease.
For the past eighteen years, I have specialized in working with adults, including those with developmental disabilities and emotional/behavioral mental health diagnoses. My therapeutic approach incorporates Motivational Interviewing, and I employ a highly engaged, client-centered methodology, meeting clients in various settings such as their homes, the office, the community, and with their service providers. I have an extensive knowledge base regarding available resources and provide comprehensive advocacy and support to clients requiring services.
My practice includes working with high-needs individuals, offering support for post-incarceration re-entry, housing insecurity, legal obligations, family matters, financial assistance, benefit acquisition, and advocacy for Disability and Vocational Rehabilitation services. I am dedicated to supporting my clients in achieving their goals and attaining a higher quality of life. Furthermore, I am a residential landlord in Western Maine and an entrepreneur and small business owner of a nutrition-based company in Maine.
