Provides Mental Health Services to children, teens, adults and families.
I am a licensed clinical social worker who is qualified to provide mental health counseling and therapy to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families in the state of Maine. I was born and raised in a small town in western Pennsylvania, having achieved my Bachelor’s of Science in Social Work at Mansfield University of Pennsylvania, and a Master’s of Science in Social Work at the State University of New York at Buffalo.
Over the last twenty-five years that I have worked in the field of social work, and due to having a concentration within my formal education related to studies of children and families. I have specialized in the treatment of child and adolescent emotional and behavioral disorders, implementing the use of child-centered strategies during individual treatment, as well incorporating the use of family therapy throughout the course of therapy to children.
I also specialize and have extensive clinical experience in providing treatment to clients of all ages in addressing various issues, such as depression, trauma, anger management, addiction, and many other areas of treatment.
I have been completely dedicated to my career in professional counseling for the last several years because I am a strong believer that therapy works and is effective in helping others to achieve wellness in their lives.
Since recently relocating to the state of Maine, I look forward to starting the new adventure in my life and in my career, and hope that potential clients will give me a chance to travel with them along their road to recovery and to better health in their lives. It will be a privilege to be a part of their process and to assist others during their journey to achieve their personal goals in life.
