I completed an intensive graduate program which included a one year internship which provided me with experience working with a variety of clients struggling with a wide range of mental health challenges. I have a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Creative Arts from the University of Maine at Farmington and a Bachelor’s Degree in English from the University of Southern Maine.
I have provided support for people struggling with a variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, grief, and trauma. I have also worked with people experiencing OCD, Tourettes, PTSD, and domestic violence. I have had the privilege of working with a number of individuals of all ages, most frequently teens and older. In my experience, everyone has challenges they could use some support and help with at various stages of their lives and these challenges are not specific to any one group. Many have shared that it helps to have someone who is not directly involved in their lives as support.
